DepHUB at WSIS+20 Forum High Level Event 2025

From 7th to 11th July 2025, the DepHUB's Shamra Ahmed participated in three WSIS20 Sessions:

📌Session 176 – Human Rights-Centered Global Governance of Quantum Technologies

📌 Session 275 – Strengthening Corporate Accountability on Inclusive, Trustworthy, and Rights-Based Approaches to Ethical Digital Transformation

📌 Session 395 – WSIS Action Line C7: e-Science for Inclusive Futures

Her contributions to the sessions were based on collaborative efforts between the DepHUB and partners on responsible governance of emerging digital technologies (EDT) developed through knowledge products:

1. Human Rights-Centered Global Governance of Quantum Technologies

2. World Benchmarking Alliance's submission to the Global Digital Compact (GDC) 

3. The DepHUB's submission to the GDC

4. T7 Task Force 3: Science and Digitalization for a Better Future, People-Centered Science and Digital Transformation: A Practical Proposal for the G7 and G20
