A Global Majority Lens on Environmental Sustainability and the Gen-AI value chain
On 22nd October, the DepHUB's Shamira Ahmed participated in the Workshop on Sustainable Generative AI Value Chain + Interoperability in AI Governance.
Shamira is the co-lead for the Policy Network on Artificial Intelligence (PNAI) Sub-group on Environmental Sustainability and the Generative AI value chain.
The Internet Governance Forum's PNAI is a community of diverse stakeholders with ‎expertise on AI and data governance.
The Multistakeholder Working Group of experts (MWG) convenes for regular online meetings to steer PNAI’s work and plan future activities. The community is continuously consulted on the thematic focus of the PNAI, its methodology and outputs. The MWG plays key role in transforming the PNAI community’s expressed views into concrete actions and outputs.
